Hospitalized

Dear Friends, relatives, colleagues and readers,

I have just been discharged from Damansara Specialist Hospital. I was admitted on Thursday night due to acute pain in my lower abdomen.


I felt the pain early in the morning but it wasn't that painful as I thought it could be a cause of constipation. In the evening when I got back to office after some errands, I suddenly felt acute pain and couldn't move an inch. Took 2 pain killer and tahan for 2-3 hours. Pain didn't go away. So I told Nam to quickly fetch me to clinic. My face turned pale green. Doctor suspected it was appendix. My instinct told me NO WAY.

I didn't take the risk to jab anything but to head to hospital because doctor was unsure of what causes the pain. After an ultrasound in Damansara Specialist, doctor suspect it's the cyst that caused the pain. The pain went down after awhile and the gynae said she would wait til my mom comes to decide what we gonna do with my pain.

Friday morning, a specialist doctor gave me 2 options because i refused to go for operation because the pain went mild. 1 is to cut my stomach, to check my appendix and my ovary. which means after the surgery, the scar will be there for life right? NO WAY. it could be as long as 3 inch. UGLY!

2nd option. Autobiopsy. 3 tubes go into different part of my stomach. One functions as camera, one functions as scrapper, one functions as blood sucker. Which I thought it was ok la. Few cm long oni ma. So I chose this.

At 2pm, i was pushed into the surgery ward and jabbed anaesthetic. Obviously I cried la cos so painful. within 15 sec, i passed out. At 5pm, i opened my eyes and saw myself in the room and Nam came after that. And i went back to my trip again.

Woohoo~ I was tripping the whole day til the next day. not cheap to do that ok?

The gynae confirmed me that it wasnt appendix. it was the ovary that bleds and block the blood vessels. That was why I was in pain.
