R.I.P. My dear Aunt.

The news didnt got me shock as this was expected.

She was suffering from cancer and only got to know bout it 2 yrs ago. I was told that doctor said the cancer has spread from the original site to other parts of the body which the original site was unknown.

At that time, she was conscious, and she was strong. Mom and the rest of my close relatives were sad to see her in that condition. Mom couldnt help it but cried when Aunty Kim advise Mom to take good care of her health.

Somehow, miracle did happen to such graceful + wonderful woman. Though it's final stage at that time, the spread suspended for shortwhile. She had to go through lotsa treatment to survive. Of course going through that pathway was not easy for her, but she was strong inside out.

Though we're not close relative(Mom's cousin), but her support were always warm. Remember when my great grandma(she has a precious place in my Mom's heart) passed away (2001), Mom was depressed. Before great grand's last breathe, Mom was crying and calling greatgrand's name non stop. Aunt Kim was so supportive to keep Mom calm and comforting Mom throughout the time. Her presence helped mom a lot.

When i was a kid, i would go over to her place during holidays. allowing me to stay over and bringing me to malls , treating me like her other daughter. She would tell me to study hard, not to disappoint mom and all . always treating the kids nice. We love her.

Now that she has gone to heaven, i'm sure she will like the place. For that, she doesnt have to suffer the pain as much as when she's here.

I read a story bout a boy suffering from Leukemia. His mom wondering why did God had to take him away from her. God was actually helping the boy cos He couldnt bare to c the pain. and He made things better for the boy. I'm sure, He is doing the same thing to Aunt Kim. Praise and thank God for his grace and mercy.

I'll always remember you. May you rest in peace my dear aunt
